My name is Robert Hammett and I'd like to welcome you to what will certainly become a long read.
If you've read anything I've written in the past it most likely had to do with live music in Spokane, Washington via http://www.themeetingnw.com and The Spokane Music Calendar with I run (ran?). With little time on my hands I've cut back almost entirely on The Meeting Northwest and have focused more time and attention on my personal outlets and goals.
I'm currently spending most of my time soaking up the last days of summer and, primarily, attending Itt Tech in Spokane Valley in pursuit of an associates degree in computer networking systems. When time allows, I can be found riding Beacon Hill on my very green bike (see below), generally being outdoors or working here around the house and garden with my beautiful fiancee Dana Wilson.
Mostly, I love living in Spokane so much that I wanted to share it with whom ever I could. I'll be adding pictures and blurbs of the places I like to visit and any new ones that are discovered.
